Have you ever heard of negative pressure? This term is widely seen in hospital. It’s actually an isolation technique to prevent cross-contamination from room to room. In the hospital, this system includes a ventilation that generates negative pressure (pressure lower than of the surroundings) to allow air to flow into the isolation room but not escape from the room, as air will naturally flow from areas with higher pressure to areas with lower pressure, thereby preventing contaminated air from escaping the room.
But for cartridges, it’s not that advanced, it has no ventilation system at all. But it does require stop air flow from outside. So that’s why when operating the oil filling into the cartridges, you will be advised to quickly screw up the cartridge to the mouthpiece tip. And the best practice is to do so within 30 seconds after oil filling. Of course, the sooner the better.

- Store the cartridge upside down after filling.
- Cover the thread at the bottom and the tip with the silicone caps provided.
